There are two ways. First, if the landlord is abroad or in another city, YOBROKERS sends a biometric agent to their location — anywhere in India or internationally — and captures the Aadhaar biometric separately from the tenant. Both sessions are then combined for registration. Second, if the landlord cannot be present at all, a trusted person holding a registered Power of Attorney (POA) can act as the licensor on their behalf.
If landlord is abroad (biometric done internationally): Aadhaar card of all parties (Landlord, Tenants and 2 witnesses), PAN card of Landlord, and any property address proof such as Electricity Bill / Index-2 / Property Tax Receipt.
If using a POA holder: Registered Power of Attorney document, Aadhaar of the POA holder, Aadhaar of Tenants and 2 witnesses, PAN card of the original landlord, and property address proof.

If the landlord cannot be present and does not wish to travel for biometric, a trusted person holding a registered Power of Attorney (POA) can act as the licensor. The POA holder's Aadhaar biometric is captured instead of the owner's. The POA document must be registered.
